Yes!
I've known it for a while, but it's actually daunted on me a few days ago - I'm actually going (with my band SIR REG) on tour with The Misfits. 18 days in a nightliner across Europe. 13 shows. Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway and Finland. We're gonna die from exhaustion, but it's gonna be fun...I think..I hope.
Three weeks from now it all starts. Is it too late to get in shape? :)
The idea of not seeing my six month old girl and my gf for three weeks is a bit wrecking. I'm currently stressing with merch design, album cover design/changes, mixing of backingtracks, tour gear (optimizing my pedalboard as I type this).
If you want to follow us, check out these links (we don't have an official bandsite as of now):

Damn!
It's been soo fucking hot today. I'm not joking. One of the hottest days since 1994 in Sweden...and we decided to shoot a music video today (had planned it for weeks though).
Nightmare, sweat-wise. But sweat brings a visual look that suits the music (also, I wore a suit..kinda...tie, shirt, vest and suspenders/braces. And jeans! I will never wear jeans on stage again).
Here is a short snippet that Erik, the drummer, filmed at the end of the day. You can see (if you look hard) that everyone has sweat pearls in their face.

A picture of me, right after a sweaty rehearsal with SIR REG.
I should shave.

Bought a(nother) Japan Fender Telecaster (made in 1989) for a great buck. Lovely instrument. It really sings!
Still haven't put on new strings, since the previous owner had broken a few.

Being a dad takes up most of my time, but just before Evelina was born I joined the band SIR REG on guitar. We are getting more and more gigs and hopefully we will head out to play europe. We are also rehearsing with my band Dwine and I'm keeping busy with my own electronic music/experimentations.

Evelina is sleeping in the crib and Sabine is out taking a sunny spring walk with her mp3-player.
I've been taking a few photos lately, and here they are:

Me and Sabine got a healthy daughter on the 27th of january. She weighed in at 3745 gram and measured 53 cm. Everything went really good and we went home the day after the delivery. She's the cutest thing I have ever seen, and experience her birth was probably the most intense moment ever.
Her name will be Evelina Moa Marodafne Olivi.
There will be pictures of her here soon. Will post them when I get to my computer (I'm at Sabine's laptop now).

Took this while walking home from work today:
I also got a really weird pain/stiffness in my neck today. Horrible. I can't figure out what could have caused it. Maybe I got it from seeing the Mosambiquan goal-keeper landing on his head yesterday.

It's been cold lately. I don't mind, even if I work outside part of the day. From what I can remember I've never had any problem with getting dry skin, but these past few days my fingers, face and the side of my belly (yeah, minimalistic love-handles) have been dry due to the fact that I'm part inside, part outside quite alot.
Took this photo the other day when we had -25 C.

Ok. So I haven't updated this in a while. Here are a few shots I've taken.
Happy new year, folks!

I tried to take some photos that included the technique of light-stencils. You basically put a flash in a cardboardbox and cut out some figure in the box...and long enough shuttertime to fire off a few. Here is my first test from the livingroom.

Sorry for the slow updates around here.
Thought I'd throw in a picture of me:
and also a cover I did for the IDMf Continuum compilation album that I made along with Yibbon:

Spend a day on the countryside. Great weather, company, food and surroundings.

Bought an AKAI tapedeck for $10
75 SEK. Pretty cheap for a 1970-something tapedeck. I put on a grounded jack, cleaned it up and used isopropanol on the glass-covered head (That's what the G in GXC-36D stands for). Now it's as good as new.

A week ago I had the pleasure to go with my gf, mother, stepdad and brothers to Kopparberg where we all learned how to pan for gold. Awesome experience. I have been wanting to pan for gold since I was a kid. Let's just say I've gotten the gold-fever. Bought a pan, borrowed books, read articles, watched movies and documentaries about panning, mining, sluicing, dredging..and the Klondike goldrush at the end of 19th century.
Tomorrow we will go to our friends Johan Hultman and Elina Forss wedding. Will be fun. Just gotta find something nice to wear.
