Took this while walking home from work today:
I also got a really weird pain/stiffness in my neck today. Horrible. I can't figure out what could have caused it. Maybe I got it from seeing the Mosambiquan goal-keeper landing on his head yesterday.

It's been cold lately. I don't mind, even if I work outside part of the day. From what I can remember I've never had any problem with getting dry skin, but these past few days my fingers, face and the side of my belly (yeah, minimalistic love-handles) have been dry due to the fact that I'm part inside, part outside quite alot.
Took this photo the other day when we had -25 C.

Ok. So I haven't updated this in a while. Here are a few shots I've taken.
Happy new year, folks!

I tried to take some photos that included the technique of light-stencils. You basically put a flash in a cardboardbox and cut out some figure in the box...and long enough shuttertime to fire off a few. Here is my first test from the livingroom.

Sorry for the slow updates around here.
Thought I'd throw in a picture of me:
and also a cover I did for the IDMf Continuum compilation album that I made along with Yibbon:

Spend a day on the countryside. Great weather, company, food and surroundings.

Bought an AKAI tapedeck for $10
75 SEK. Pretty cheap for a 1970-something tapedeck. I put on a grounded jack, cleaned it up and used isopropanol on the glass-covered head (That's what the G in GXC-36D stands for). Now it's as good as new.

A week ago I had the pleasure to go with my gf, mother, stepdad and brothers to Kopparberg where we all learned how to pan for gold. Awesome experience. I have been wanting to pan for gold since I was a kid. Let's just say I've gotten the gold-fever. Bought a pan, borrowed books, read articles, watched movies and documentaries about panning, mining, sluicing, dredging..and the Klondike goldrush at the end of 19th century.
Tomorrow we will go to our friends Johan Hultman and Elina Forss wedding. Will be fun. Just gotta find something nice to wear.

Finally have settled in the new spaceous apartment. Still need to put everything up on the walls..and need a bookshelf, a table, a dishwasher, some curtains..etc etc.
Feels good. The studioroom also needs some work but it's coming along pretty well.
The weather here have been great for a few weeks, but a few days ago there were finally some rain (and thunders). I think the nature and every other living being needed it. I took a picture of it at 2am from the window in the studio room:
The new songs with Dwine sounds great. My brother knows how to write good choonz.
Take care!

Our bassplayer David is now a proud father of a son. I'm so stoked! He and Sofi will be awesome parents! I wish them all the luck and love I can give them. Congrats!Thursday, June 11, 2009, 11:34 PM
I'm covering new grounds in music, sound design and graphics. Exciting.
Ideas for the idmforums.com compilation:
Still need a good job.

Our show with Dwine this Friday went well. But as always (everytime we have played the Kopingfesten) it's a world championship in stress. I don't know how they do it. Sucky planning I guess. But it was fun...and quick. In, out. We actually got 4 cameras rolling so I edited a video together yesterday. Check it out:

I also have some good news about my ambient music. A netlabel called PublicSpacesLab in Spain liked what they heard and want to "sign" me to their label. Yeeee! First off is a track on their compilation-album (with many more talented people on it). I edited a video together (aswell) for that track. Check it!

Now I gotta go get a job and/or find out how I will pay the bills. Cheers!

I'm already physically and mentally preparing to move to a bigger apartment (even though there is some time left)..and also the live shows with Dwine. Selling stuff I don't use as much, throwing stuff away, preparing backingtracks (first time we use backingtracks in Dwine, wee). I'm also preparing to do the video of me cutting off my hair in the mirror, to one of our (Dwine) songs.
Also, I need a job!
Oh, times..they are a'changin'.
Just thought I'd post a picture of me and my nephew Elliott, eating icecream in a cup.

I'm moving to a new spaceous apartment this summer. I'm leaving my cramped (but cozy) current apartment. Hopefully moving to the "old city" neighbouhood of my town. High ceiling and a nearby stream.
Rehearsing is coming along great with Dwine. We are putting together the backingtracks atm. Got an outdoor gig 3 weeks from now at the Köpingsfesten 29th of may @ 11pm. Stoked.
I've also taken some product-photos for my brother and his new snare.
Now I'm gonna get back to mixing the backingtracks.
See ya...

Finally the "pre-summer"/spring that we had in Italy is coming here...and I'm cleaning out, throwing stuff that need to go, selling what I'm not using. Fresh air and new spaces. Gives me energy to write some new songs and get new ideas for Dwine (and it also pays some bills). I've got two video ideas that I want to execute asap, one is me cutting off my long hair in the mirror.
The balcony also need to be cleaned. Sunshine and beer. Yay!

Long time since I wrote a blog. I had a great time in Italy. Awesome food, weather, wine, pasta, Venice, Padova, crazy traffic, language, bodylanguage, more wine. I haven't eaten so much in an entire week as I did. I'm forever grateful to Andrea's generous family.
Coming back is like falling in to the same routine again. A bit sad. But I guess that's what holidays are about - breaking patterns. I've seriously thought about moving to a new place and change my diet to raw food and living food (like I did for a period in 2005..and I felt great). I'm a bit stuck in the same routines now. Doesn't feel too good. A part of me is desperate for a change. Aparently I'm not alone being in this situation.
My brother sent off his snare and it was displayed in the booth at Frankfurt Musikmesse just recently. It looks and sounds great. If I hadn't been in italy during this time I would have loved to be there demoing it.
Here's a picture I took in Venice:
